Budapest Unseen: A Sensory City Walk for Visually Impaired

Explore Budapest on a private walking tour designed for visually impaired travelers. Experiance landmarks, the mini statues of Budapest and the iconic Millennium Underground with all your senses.

What to expect:

Discover Budapest through touch, sound, flavor, and atmosphere on this specially designed walking tour for visually impaired travelers.

We begin our tour at the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building, where your guide will introduce the city through vivid storytelling and tactile experiences. As we walk through Liberty Square, you’ll discover fascinating monuments, hidden mini statues, and historical landmarks that reveal Budapest’s rich and complex past. Whenever possible, you’ll have the opportunity to touch architectural details, sculptures, and textures that bring the city to life in a unique and memorable way.

During the tour, we will stop for a relaxing coffee break, where you can taste two delicious Hungarian specialties and experience another sensory connection to local culture.

The second part of the tour takes you to the magnificent St. Stephen’s Basilica, one of Budapest’s most important landmarks. After visiting the city’s largest Catholic church, we continue to the elegant foyer of the Hungarian State Opera House, where you can experience the atmosphere, acoustics, and architectural beauty of one of Budapest’s most iconic cultural venues.

From here, we travel on the historic Metro Line 1, the famous Millennium Underground, offering a unique opportunity to experience the world’s second-oldest underground railway. Finally, we arrive at the scenic Danube Promenade, where the sounds, atmosphere, and panoramic openness of both Buda and Pest create an unforgettable ending to the experience.
