As a local guide with eighteen years of experience, I offer sightseeing tours for groups and private guests in and around the Hungarian capital in English and German.

Whether you come alone, as a couple, with a family or in a small group, my private sightseeing tours are always tailored to your needs. In addition to the classic sightseeing tours, which take in Budapest's best-known sights, I also offer themed tours that give you a deeper insight into Budapest's rich culture - for example, culinary tours and guided walks in the Jewish Quarter.

Because this city is full of amazing places. Some of them are world-famous, like the Parliament, the Basilica, the Dohány Street Synagogue or the Buda Castle District - and then there are the hidden gems, small cafés, secret gardens and the constantly changing street art. The city walks introduce my guests to the must-see sights of Budapest, while we also go off the beaten track to experience the real pulse of the city.

In addition to exciting information and historical background, I provide my guests with practical and money-saving tips, restaurant and programme recommendations for their stay. And as a tourist guide, I always focus on current affairs and everyday life in Budapest, so my guests get a comprehensive picture of what it's like to live in the city.

I am an easygoing and positive person and I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures. So my tours are usually very personal with lots of stories and anecdotes from the city's history and my own life.

My name is Zsuzsanna Berta, I was born and raised in Budapest, and I’ve been a licensed tour guide for over 18 years. My passion for Budapest remains strong after all these years.
